Magnesium alloys have many advantages, such as high strength, low density, corrosion resistance, recyclability, good thermal conductivity, and thin-wall forming. Starting from Europe, some automobile manufacturers have applied magnesium alloys to replace the original materials on doors and engine blocks. Japan and Taiwan even apply magnesium alloys to the covering parts of 3C products to improve product quality and enhance product competitiveness.


Academician Ding Wenjiang has been engaged in advanced magnesium alloy and engineering research for a long time. He has won the second prize of the National Technology Invention Award, the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, the Shanghai Science and Technology Hero Award and the first prize of the Shanghai Technology Invention Award. , has rich experience and fruitful achievements in magnesium alloy research.


In this contract, the two parties will conduct research on the company's prototypes and related technologies for the gasification of waste tires using superheated steam, and determine the best technical solutions and technological processes to reduce the black pollution of waste tires. At the same time, the application of aluminum-magnesium alloys in rubber machinery products such as vulcanizers reduces the weight of equipment and provides a prerequisite for equipment integration, light weight, and miniaturization, so as to develop more lightweight, high-load, shock-absorbing, and low-scroll products. , Easy processing characteristics of aluminum-magnesium alloy rims, further improve the energy saving, safety and comfort of the car.


Academician Ding Wenjiang said at the symposium that the completion of the project requires the mutual support of talents and platforms.
